Hi guys! I have some fun news today, I've joined the Sizzix UK team blog! I was invited to their head offices in North Wales over the summer and spent the day with them testing out the machine's and dies. Of course I fell completely in love, and I'll be posting on their blog each month so you can expect to see some exciting projects from me using my new Sizzix loot I got recently! That definitely was a gooood post day! Tell me, have you got a Sizzix machine? Do you use it regularly for sewing and quilting?
My first intro post is up today, and I'll be back in October for my first project idea. Hope you can stop by! xo
Congratulations, sounds like a fun new adventure! I've been telling Santa for a couple of years that I NEED a Sizzix , I must on the naughty list.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to your posts!
Congratulations! You're the perfect person, you're so clever! Can't wait to see what you make.
ReplyDeleteThank you lovely Pam! xo
DeleteI'm only familiar with the use of Sizzix for paper crafting, I didn't know it could be used on fabric too! Do you know if it's the same machine you'd use for paper?
ReplyDeleteYou certainly can use fabric, and yes it's the same machine :-) x
DeleteThat sounds like lots of fun! I haven't got a Sizzix but every now and then, when I'm in the middle of lots of cutting, I start to think I should get one!!!! Can't wait to see what you make x
ReplyDeleteCongrats on being part of the Sizzix team! I have a Big Shot and a few flower dies but that's pretty much it. That's what I was into back when I bought the machine. Then I started to learn how to piece quilt blocks but unfortunately, I became unemployed and just can't spend money on those dies. I was fortunate enough though, to win a bottle die but haven't used it yet. I have ideas floating around in my head though!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! I love my Big Shot altho to be fair at the moment it's only used for cutting out hexies for EPP! I've used it for applique a couple of times and recently invested in a 2.5" square die to tackle scraps....
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see what projects you do with it :)
I honestly have one sitting in my amazon basket right now waiting for me to work out which dies are the most useful for quilting :)
ReplyDeleteI have a sizzix and Angela used to write great posts for us quilters/patchworkers but I would love for you to write lots of yummy posts with tutorials on using the different dies for piecing. Congratulations too by the way :-)
ReplyDeletefantastic news! you will be an asset to their team as I love everything you make! heading over for a look now x
ReplyDeleteahh thank you so much Collette! xo
DeleteI have a Big Shot and love it, it makes cutting curves for drunkards path a breeze. I look forward to seeing what you come up with.
